About the Job

A fast-paced workplace comedy skit in which a tightly-wound Manager becomes increasingly frustrated over an employee who has been occupying the office bathroom for twenty minutes. When the Manager finally confronts the Employee at the door, the Employee bursts out having just won $100 on one of our skill-based gaming apps during their break — on his phone in the bathroom stall. The Manager goes from furious to fascinated within seconds, then — in the comedic payoff — grabs his own phone to download the app and marches past the Employee toward the bathroom himself. Personality: Uptight, detective-serious energy, deadpan, quick to escalate — but fundamentally good-natured. The comedy comes from the Manager being absolutely convinced something terrible is happening in that bathroom stall, only to discover it's something they immediately want to do themselves. Physical look: Office-appropriate attire (business casual). The Manager should read as credible authority — someone you'd actually listen to at work — but not intimidating. A slight 'I-manage-a-mid-size-team' energy in posture.
